We said goodbye July 21st at the Sacramento airport. It was surprisingly busy at 4am so there wasn't time for a long farewell kind of like ripping off a band aid quickly so it won't hurt so bad!
The shuttle picked him up in Salt Lake and dropped him off at the MTC in Provo Utah.
He was the first in his room to arrive so he picked his bunk and started unpacking.
Had a little extra time so he made a tape for home, what a good son!
Finally his roommates arrived including his companion Elder Dewey (the one with dark hair). Him and his companion had similar interests and really hit it off.
